THE VOICES JOSH, WHAT DO THEY MEAN?

That was a fun read. Thanks I love knowing exact equipment that was used to make the music. :treasure:

Darren Mitchell's music is highly underrated! Glad to see an interview and learn a bit more. I found it interesting that he didn't have any art or visuals to work from when composing the levels, just verbal communication with the producer. Because for me, I find the audio and visuals closely connected in my mind! Of course, that's to be expected after all these years and coming from a pure player's perspective. Still I think he did a good job at matching the feel of the levels.

Yeah that interested me also for the same reason, the music really fits a perfect blend with the levels as if he made them while seeing video segments but isn't the case xD

I hope its okay that I pin this in this board. Great interview! Well if there is ever a new Turok game we know Darren is interested! And hope to see you track down more interviews I know you can :)

It was a great opportunity to talk with him believe me I love the tracks a lot! And you're right, there was a heavy amount of views and looks like it goes around to all posts. So that's cool and his post did pretty good too :) Its a win!

I hope so too, though I think he told Duke that the beta soundtrack was lost.

Thank you so much for the interview link!
T2 soundtrack used to impress me very much! As well as the atmospheric level sound design - it just made each level world so believable that time)
Thanks to Darren's music I got inspired to be a game composer too=)
