I hope that this "spiderman glitch" will STAY in remastered multiplayer - it's like game mechanic! Please also add this "multi-air-jumping areas" to level editor. I can't imagine T2 Multi without this glitch! I hope movement will remain the same - air-jumps and "bunnyhoping" / bouncing off ramps (sloped terrains) - maybe soon I will create video also about this.


Hey I tried this jump in the single player (PC) but it didn't work. Maybe I am doing it wrong, I tried to jump when something was above me on a wall is that how you do it?

It works only in multiplayer. (The one shown in 1:22 second of video is possible in SP but it's much harder than in MP)

Would be awesome to have new gamemodes but I thnik that they don't want spend time making new things :( But if they give us good conditions for modding this game also in multiplayer we could do new gamemodes ourselves. I like zombie gamemode idea - it doesn't have to be even zombies. It could be raptors / dinos or other monsters from T2 universe. Hey wait... We already have zombies in T2 singleplayer - http://turok.wikia.com/wiki/Deadman so?

And how about having more characters in multiplayer? Who wants play as this guy in mp - http://turok.wikia.com/wiki/Mantid_Drone ?? :D Also characters' models in multiplayer are quadratic - I would like to have Turok model in mp looking like Turok model in singleplayer in cutscenes.

Custom taunts and textures support.
Let server hosters make downloadable custom taunts for their server :) And maybe also custom textures - so every server could looks different??

Make when you changes team in Team Rok Match your stats resets (0 frags, 0 pain / points) - because currently stats stays same and when someone in team Blue has 14 frags and guys in Red team have 8 frags and Fraglimit is set to 20 - and then guy from Blue team joins to Red team then match ends and level changes cos Red team has now total 22 frags and Fraglimit hits.

Do you know other things that have to be repaired?

More than 60fps
Using "-maxframerate 64" we can get real 60FPS, but with bigger values like "-maxframerate 144" game goes crazy - it works like in slow motion or very fast like with speed hack. We can get real 144FPS and normal game speed only by hacking game memory.

Every type of weapons in level editor and in multiplayer
We want to have singleplayer-only weapons also in multiplayer! And all of "deleted / N64 multiplayer" weapons in level editor -

Also singleplayer's Scorpion Launcher has nicer effect of fired rocket than multiplayer's Scorpion Launcher. Why don't have this nicer effect also in multiplayer?

Admin tools
Ban (by steamID / IP and other), kick, change level and more tools for server hosters also for dedicated server!

Ranking system / Tournaments
Maybe some official servers with ranking system? (But most of the time we play on custom server settings - so ask us maybe about settings if you want host some tournaments :D )

Seriously tho dude. The plasma rifle is a overpowered fucking piece of shit. It should be balanced out. If anything make it a 2 or 3 hit kill not insta kill. Fuck, even the nuke doesnt instakill.
Man, it's caused by custom characters' speed on servers. It's easy to escape from nuke with fast speed. Try to play on server with original settings - there weapons are more balanced but hardly anyone likes that slow speed. I am going to say it one more time - near every aspect of the multiplayer game should be setable in server config. So we would be able to optimize gameplay ourselves.

Better aim in multiplayer, reduced plasma rifle damage, no lag.
what??? Plasma has to be one-shot killer.
A humble request.

Add a working scope function to the tranquilizer gun, it makes no sense for the model to have a scope you can't use.

Also, modify max ammo for the pistol (60 rounds instead of 50), shotgun (12 EXP, 21 BUCK), charge dart (40 units instead of 30) and grenade launcher (15 grenades or make it do more damage with a lower ammo count).

Hey! Soon I will contact with Night Dive Studios (guys making Turok 2 Remastered). I and other players thinks that we should tell them what we think should be changed (or not) in new version of T2. So, please guys write here your ideas for refreshed T2.

Here are my few suggestions:

Level editor!

CO-OP mode:
By using some tricks and editing variables in game memory I got Turok 2 CO-OP mode! (multiplayer mode mixed with singleplayer mode on singleplayer levels) Here is video - https://youtu.be/q8E3fugeEDU https://youtu.be/k9VfNQFa3TE
I also already got "death bug" and teleports fixed by hacking game memory ;p
Would be super awesome if they can add this CO-OP feature to T2 remaster! Just imagine kicking dinos' ass with friends also on maps created by community :D

Fog:
In your Turok: Dinosaur Hunter remaster there is fog turned off by default. I think It can't be done in T2:SOE (remove the fog in default settings). Using sniper zoom in Plasma Rifle and Tek Bow to see what is behind the fog is game mechanic! Example: In last world there are "shooting cameras" which are overpowered at short distance and you have to find them in fog by zoom to kill them from long distance. Or just last level in first world is a good example - you gets Tek Bow with sniper zoom before entering the long area which is suggestion that you should use sniper zoom. "Extend draw distance" should be in cheat menu (and in server config on/off).

Fov:
I noticed that in T2 there are two types of fov - fov of camera and fov of weapon (modelview). Using command "set fov 90" you set both fovs to 90. But thanks editing variables in game memory i got this interesting effect - https://youtu.be/6a4orbIZ3Ms Changeable viewmodel would be nice :)

Gamemodes and game modifying:
Basber's mods: Would be awesome to have AWR gamemode, "Planned Features" described on mod's website and other things from Basber's mod - http://awr.turok2.de/ Maybe also ingame support for bots :)
We need also "last man standing" game mode! :P And I thing that near every aspect of the multiplayer game should be setable in server config, so then we can easily create custom gamemodes.
I see that they support moding T1, but I would also love to be able to making server plugins. Plugins - I mean server mods that players don't have to download. They just can join to server and it will works. (like Metamod / AMX Mod for Counter Strike / Half Life or like Bukkit.org for Minecraft) So, I hope server will also be modifiable :P

That's all for now, but I think I will write soon something more.
Don't forget to write your ideas but remember that it's not new game - it's just refreshed version of T2. :D
