I am finally getting around to playing this. And I will say that this game is simple and quite awesome, nothing over the top. Its honestly just as I expected. And it was on sale for 4$

Looks like there may be some interesting level design to mix the gameplay like nicely planned out like an old school level the actual detail is pretty good on them considering even know it is not greatness. The palette seems a bit off I can agree but some reason I like it, got this weird purple tint I think that looks nice. Something about the palette reminds me of Blood a bit of course not exact. Not saying this is the next Blood either Blood is in my top 5 for sure.

Well yeah a lot of work went into it I followed the updates on fb for awhile. It is not some guy just going to make a classic fps just because.. its really just a fan made game on unity of these games mentioned. The reason he has to say its not a gzdoom mod is because he is probably a modder for Doom xD

The game should be pretty fair and by the images looks like there will be a little mp also, I will drop by sleg other players and kill and make a video of playing lol. But I know the mp won't last long. I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Ahh yes this game is made by someone in the Doom community. It will most likely be cheap and though it has flaws you know I'm supporting my Doom buddies. Liked and marked as yes on greenlight ;) Been following it too and all my Doom buds have. the game is meant to seem like its old on purpose.
Looks like all doom clones were mash together. I would love to get into this type of games but its just too boring to me. I tried Quake, DOOM, Hexen, Duke Nukem, blood, powerslave. Actually I enjoy seeing other people playing them
You just mentioned all my favorite games o all time just missing Turok :)
Flat level design.  Atrocious color palette.  This reeks of nostalgia pandering.  Wake me when Dusk or Strafe is here.

Strafe's weapons look ugly like Borderlands meets old school. Dusk seems okay but overall i'm not very interested in it.

Well definitely supporting my buddy I know he spent lots of work on this now ;)

lmao in the FAQ'S of course Doom comes up xD

    1. What engine does this game use? Will it run on Zandronum/GZDoom etc.?
Answer : This game uses Unity3D Engine, therefore it won't run on any of these engines. It is not a WAD, its a Standalone game.

    2. Any Alpha or Beta tests?
Answer : Some tests may come later on, as for now the game is not ready for that.

    3. What is the planned release date?
Answer : The game is scheduled to be released in October 2017

    4. What are the minimum system specs?
Answer : The game currently runs smooth using high settings on :
CPU : Intel Pentium 3 Xeon @ 2.6GHz or better
GPU : Nvidia GeForce GT 220 or better
    RAM : 4GB or more

This is like a Doom Hexxen an Strife combo :)

Looks awesome. I would vote it if I was on steam. Hope it goes into gog. Looks better than most new games.
