I been super busy lately like today I did 12 hours at work for example. Than on my free time you already know its my family time. With the little I have left I try to make maps, check on here, and relax and play a game before it starts over hehe. As soon as I get a moment I can check these updates out. So keep it up.

I am highly interested also :) Classic style is needed for Sonic, though some of the 3D games are okay too. My favorite was Sonic and Knuckles :p

Well I'm just improvising as much as I can hehe build stuff using props xD Its still pretty limited but you can bend it some though not everyone does. I haven't seen one with its own structure. But I'm sure there is one out there. That's the other problem its pretty hard to find snapmaps especially when one of the achievements is publish a snapmap. So i'm pretty sure some people just posted something real easy and kind of dumb just to get it.

But its fun to mess with overall well at least to me I like to build stuff. My next snapmap is even better for sure which is nearly done. After this next one is done should be tomorrow, I'm going to continue where I was on that map you sent over on Doom 64. I will probably make another one especially if they release more environments and stuff later.

The arch with the skull in the thumbnail is custom made it did not come pre-built! There are a lot of things in this map that are not pre-built.

Hehe Turok is on Kaiser's engine. The Kex engine the goal was to make it run nearly identical to Turok as close as possible to the originals. The Kex engine started with Doom 64 Ex. https://doom64ex.wordpress.com/ But notice how ceiling sliding wasn't working at first in Turok remaster and an update put it in. Its because its not simply a port with mods. These things had to be remade to match. Not noticing the difference is probably a compliment to the dev. However its not mentioned very much, the history of Turok Ex that is. The difference would be that the game could be fully moddable.

This is from that Doom 64 ex page it say's this in the FAQ:

What is Kex Engine?

Kex is the codename for the engine that’s being used by Doom 64 EX. This is a heavily modified Doom engine which will eventually be used as a base to create original games and remakes of other classic console games that were never ported to the PC
