Happy New Years Turok's: Random thing I did tonight lol it doesn't have perfect anims its heavily based on the assault rifle. Just messing around here. Have a good one.

I was working on it a bit earlier this week. Was changing the UI to make it easy to go through all the models in the game and see what's what as well as a few other things. I'll be updating it to 0.9 with those changes soon. After that I'll work on getting the animations in from other models for at least the collada .dae format.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT! Good work man thanks for this stuff. Lol just one more post and you can reach 100 post.

I hate to bug you more than you probably are but it would be great if fireseed featured the model importer for turok 1. I have imported a model into turok 1 but let's face it its a hassle and kind of tedious process. I would love that ...well keep it up man its really appreciated.

Right I don't agree with taking out the other types of enemies I mean there a huge part of Turok. Aliens, dinosoids, humans, and even robots. But I must say how could one go wrong adding more types of dinosaurs? There's so many dinos that were simply to large to fit into the old games. But if they could of they would of. There's alot more variety in the comics and even the animated film. Its a lost land where dinos exist. That means there shouldn't only be 3-4 dinosaurs when there is thousands of species. Even some dinosaurs were cut from the original games because no room. Well now we have room.

i'de rather see this in a new Turok game though. Rather then a T3 remake ;)

This was a really good level possibly your best designed Turok 1 map yet. How the hell did you make all of this (not just the map) in 9 days :o Can't wait to see the normal version too. The architecture in this level is yet amazing you have made your own once again. I think what really makes a level fun is the layout of it/how you progress. You have made a great layout. With the main hub area of the map being the main focus it has branches that lead out and back into it. For me this is a top notch individual map. It reminds me of a Hollywood style layout so yeah I can see what they mean about dn3d mapping being noticed in here.

I've been at my families house this whole break. Just got back today! Cool to see you added it on workshop. keep killing killer. 10/10

Oh yeah found this awesome secret and now its 20/10 map lol

Yeah I sent some of my Doom buddies it to help me in suggestions/testing awhile ago, back in august now at least. Its been updated since that one but not enough to let you guys test again. There's a lot to do ye and with my other tons of mods and maps I'm all over the place as usual this will eventually get finished. Its been lots of fun so far.

Oh I see well no rush I know you're busy as heck and work on multiple mods/levels at once take your time and let me know when you ready. Just want to help more :)

Okay, so my first thoughts after playing through it:

It was a short, sweet map featuring crusty demons that waited for 20 years for turok to arrive but he obviously dont so they set up a village instead.

Ive been trying to get to this map at the time of release but there were alot of personal stuff happening at the time (still haven't played sixty four's map released around that time).

It had plenty of enemy ambushes, you clearly thought of enemy placement in a non-linear way. Next time I would put in a little extra ammo just in case someone wants to play hardcore mode on your maps, otherwise item placement was A+. I see it was your first map ever and I like it all the way through, you got very creative with the meshes and sectors even then, which to me is promising on seeing whats in store for future maps.

The only sin is that it has to be downloaded manually. Not everyone does that, and it would certainly reach a wider audience putting this map on workshop so it doesn't slip under the radar.

Hey thanks man I tried. Glad you responded its nice to see and means a lot +rep. I'm playing your christmas level now. Hmm I really don't care about exposure of my map but you're right... going on steam makes it easier for steam users.

Taking a break from modding and mapping and going to continue in playing some of my favorite mappers maps with videos and reviews. Now that I did Kaiser and some of his Doom maps, next in line is Tekedon - a Blood mapper and here's a small taste of his maps! More coming soon.







Those look like nice maps :) Hope to see the reviews cool stuff.

Thanks a lot took you long enough to play bro :) Sixty Four is going to do a review on it very soon. Like he has done with those recent Kaiser maps on yt.
