I just wondering, can we change sounds in Turok, I mean replace minigun sound with own sound.

Yes you can and it should work if you follow the steps above it will give you access to everything including the sounds. Find the sound you want to replace, then pick a new sound and name it the same as the sound you want replaced. Then just replace the one in your game folder with the new one. Your looking for gatlin1p.wav and gatlin2a.wav in sounds/waves :)

Well, on an emulator you can make T3 and rage wars play as a modern fps after configuring controls a little.

So far the only way known for extracting 3d models from n64 games is trough a plugin (nemmy's plugin). not that hard at all, but the extracted model needs some tweaking so it looks like in the game.
Maybe it mostly just depends on demand now huh? Also, how well T1 and T2 do could be the life line to more I suppose.

The game runs with a linear filter, just like the N64 and PC version, but it's a simple one line edit of ALL the material files (*.kmat) to change the whole game over to a retro pixelated look (look closely at the golden gun screenshot, both mods are in it)

Hahah reminds me of Duke Nukem's gold pistol :))

I liked Time Splitters to that was a good game dude well all I know is 1 & 2. Goldeneye ex would be bad ass i'm sure the rights to that are tied. But a fan version like Doom64ex would be great.

Welcome Subdrag nice modification here to and I wouldn't mind you showing off the Diddy Kong Racing maps :)

Guys, weird and funny stuff, because I know Turok Remasted work only fine on Windows 7 and higer, I wait for good news about support XP, but I find in net gog version and instaled on my XP Service Pack 3 and works fine  ;D

But I have some bug when I sometimes look up, I have Gainward GT 620 2 GB gpu

I don't think I could of said it better Kubpica. I want T2 to stay true like T1 no nonsense. I hope it comes with a level editor, mod tools, MP with game modes and co op, and slight tweaks to the Single player. Small tweaks that only fix areas, as they did in T1 with some extra details on the map in a gentle way. But I don't want to get rid of old bugs from the original those should stay. Since this will use the same engine as T1 but slightly tweaked to fit T2 standards it will be moddable no doubt, then we could do a ton of this stuff ourselves :)

I want the soul of T2 to stay true but better performance, control feel, fov, and smooth frames.

If it helps any: Kaiser didn't just start Turok ex because he was going to get paid. He started that years ago as a fan, so I would say the actual dev is a fan himself :)
