This is really nice man just seeing the maps I especially like the starting place such a tease! I know there have been alot of attempts at getting some kind of level editor for Turok and to my knowledge none of them went through. This is the farthest I've seen one get hope you don't stop and keep going! Also, you could get a job doing this stuff it seems glad you are doing this first before you get to busy hehe :P

Honestly I don't think it matters if we can make the textures better or models. Turok Evolution looks pretty good as is actually, and I personally like old school better. Of course it would be awesome but its no big deal. If we had a level editor for Turok maybe we could have a user content section just as almost every other fps game of its time. Which would be amazing especially from a level design perspective ;)

It is interesting to see these, nice scans to thanks for sharing and welcome. For the weapons the way you made them is a really cool picture and they are not bad weapons at all the pump shotgun of course nearly resembles the one from Turok 1. But Turok always had some magic in its weapons and that was something special about it. Turok 08 went this way a bit on the modern side but it did do some cool things with certain weapons. But there is nothing like the set of weapons from the original games :)

Welcome I did not know you were the one I tried to get a hold of at the assembler forums pretty cool that you found here before checking your assembler to. True Turok fan then. I would love to make a level for any Turok game. This ensures possibility and life for the games long after there time plus more reason to play it to when there's always something new.

I am now 90% sure that this is happening for Turok 1. The Turok 2 is a surprise and I don't see any images for it still so won't make considerations yet. Though it may have been considered after starting on T1 and could have been brought on board. So I do hope its true I will buy a ton of copies of the pack xD

I wanted to post these pics the day the news came out and well read forum updates section why I couldn't









Looking good. I am really hoping for a level editor. It would ensure the everlasting life of Turok with such but either way I am real excited about the remakes of Turok 1 and Turok 2.

Good information there. Well Matt you were a very skilled artist, the drawing is still amazing its a bit more on the vicious side and if you search scary raptor on google you will see Jurassic Park Raptor and Turok Evolution raptor.

I cant take a quick enough screen of when he reaches out with claws and attacks it happens to fast hehe but the resemblance is there pretty cool knowing. That scene is one of the best there, that nose you see in the picture wont be there for long don't worry.


I decided to take the nose out and enhance a bit I did really fast but I couldn't get a shot without it :)



Made this one for fun to :)
