Turok Evolution Modding / Re: PC Version Multiplayer - Online Modification
« on: December 14, 2015, 09:11:06 AM »
So i played around in the multiplayer and ive noticed almost all, if not, all of the shaders were missing but that kind of stuff is accepted and expected.
Another intresting thing is that when you touch the second player, he turns to a non-deformed version of himself, albeit in a falling pose and starts to slide away.
This is most likely because the second player does not have any inputs set up and the game doesnt know what to do.

I ment to post it yesterday but couldnt because of time constraints and because it uploaded so slowly, i had to let my PC on for some hours while i went to sleep.
EDIT: Here is another video showing off the Flight game mode.

Turok Evolution / Re: Turok Evolution Videos
« on: October 23, 2015, 07:28:07 AM »
More videos to stay on topic.
These guys seem cool. Id love to play Turok Evolution with them.

Same goes to these guys.

This video is german but you can still enjoy the gameplay if you dont understand what they are saying.

These guys dont seem to be enjoying the game alot. They dont know how to play which makes it an even worse experience for them.

This video is very fun to watch because it reminds me of myself playing the game years ago with i think my twin brother. I Also experimented with it myself ALOT and i mean ALOT.

This one's a bit meh but neat because they didnt play that well but it was posted by IGN and that's a place you dont expect to see Turok Evolution.

Wow that looks crazy how you build them.

It is nice, in Turok temples feeling:

That really does remind me of Turok did you add the fog on purpose to resemble Turok even more? Nice job

I use only this editor:

We have in NFS4 all closed tracks from NFS1-2SE. Only we need segmented tracks from NFS1 :)
Can you make tracks for Nfs5?

Sounds good man! I wish I could program and be apart of this in helping 8) But programming is very hard to learn without years of focus for it. Either way it is really up to you guys we will be pretty much happy either way. At least I know I will be :) This rocks honestly, just think about it there has never been a way to create anything for Turok ever. We are talking about since 1997 this is far to long. So really I look forward to this kind of thing.
You just have to believe in yourself. :) I know you can do it

Turok Evolution / Re: Evolution Cover Art
« on: August 27, 2015, 04:42:18 PM »
The cover art (as well as the bulk of Turok art) was created by Matt Stubbington.  Matt was one of the founders of Iguana and a spectacular artist.  Sadly he passed away three years ago from a hereditary disease.

I had asked Matt to create a piece of art for promo use that was evocative of the scene in Jurassic Park where the alpha velociraptor ambushes gamekeeper Robert Muldoon.

The idea was a dense rainy forest scene with just hints of the rex in shadow.  glowing eyes, glint of teeth, etc...

It was a tough concept to pull off as a static image and just when we were going to give up on the idea Matt came up with that.

It was never intended to be the package but was just such a kick ass piece of art it was only natural that we used it.
Rest in peace man. Intresting facts. My condolences. 39 years is a young age to die... :(

@Adon: Well its more based in Yangchuanosaurus and neovenatorids. But yes, we have a T-rex! A mother****ing T-rex xD
Are you referencing the song (IM A MOTHERF*CKING T-REX)?
