Thanks everybody! not only am I adding jump pads but I'm also adding ladders and new ways to get up from the canals I added all new areas to connect from the canal with ramps back up to the spot you will see soon :)

Yeah the editor shipped with the game I found it by typing 'help' in the console which shows all the commands. Kexstudio was listed. There are other ways to find it also within the files too.

I will post an update soon as possible!

Dang Snake giving it your own type of interface? Nice job dude man that's some skill you have there to be able to do that. I'm going to have a peek at this now. I don't know if I can help any but I would for damn sure test things with you guys. If I come up with anything I will keep BT2 in my mind when getting ideas.

no I did not yet. but I know how it is done, along with a lot of other things, and im takeing the time today to lay it all out in a few posts, so stay tuned.

again though I have not added yet but may as well have. and sorry for anyone this may offset. there's a few things I must do before I can free myself completely and move on in my life, brutal turok 1 and 2 are a few of them. and exerting every aspect and feature of the kex engine.

that's okay though still it is really cool I see what you meant now I just misread I think. Yes a list of things Brutal Turok 2 needs help with or any type of list that you have it could help us know if we would be helpful or not :) Either way if I get any gorey blooded ideas for it I will post them here. I don't know if I told you but I really respect the work you put into Brutal Turok.

It's true that this place hasn't been around for that long.  It seems to be a pretty positive place - here's hoping it stays that way.  I have to take a break from the Doom forums every so often as it always gets toxic at some point...  To many geeks with very particular ideas I suppose...

We try to keep it positive all the time. Its funny the forum is like opposite of usual forums literally. If someone is being a selfish jerk than we have to return that blood they may get ripped into. They don't seem to allow other members acting better than others type of thing. Anyways, I'm not a moderator or admin just saying in general and I care lots about this forum so I look out too. 64, Dinomite, and Rok do a good job.

I hear you... Doom forums it can get pretty heated sometimes. I mostly just go to this forum now I mean we even talk about Doom here. But I can't stand steam forums at all you don't want me to go on about that crap I can't even go on it without feeling disturbed and great now I want to cringe just thinking :/

Awesome ! I have posted a screenshot of this part of the game some days ago, it's really a nice part with this design. ^^

Ah yess what a lovely screen shot that is this exact part. I have to re arrange things on it so it has proper connectivity for rok matches. Its kind of hard to force it to bend certain ways with the models but its going good. Yes it is a lovely scene and should be a rok match. Thanks man! Hey if you need any help feel free to ask here. I'm sure there are some people who can help including me I will if I can. Its not much different than the Turok 1 editor either :)

Working on a new River of Souls DM guys definitely based off one of the areas from the actual game but twisting it up to make a DM map!! Like adding better connectivity. Anyways its like 75% done soon I will release a kpf containing it for mods folder and people can host a dm on but problem is you will need the kpf in your mods folder for now. There will be no cerebral op bore or nukes in this map either.

Does anyone find that the cerebral bore is op? I had 250 ultra health and the cerebral bore killed me in 2 seconds. I don't remember it being that powerful. Played with someone who only went after the bore and spammed the hell out of it. It was a very spamming bs match and I can see how the bore ruins mp. When you get 10 one shot kill heat seeking bores to spam. I think the weapon should spawn ever 3 minutes and only carry 5 shots. Not spawns every 20 seconds with 10 shots. You can end a match real quick and always win and spoil the fun just go for the bore if you want to be a shameless winner. To bad I still beat that guy good try.

Weapon Damages that should be modified some to help balance:

Shotgun: Only does 20 damage I think it should do like 35-40 (40 is still less than the original damage but 20 damage feels like a pistol) The shredder buff renders the weak shotgun nearly useless.

Grenade Launcher: I have to hit a player like 3-5 times to get a kill with a grenade? This makes the weapon useless unless you fnd two players who are about to kill eachoher and steal there kills after they are hurt otherwise don't even bother with this weapon anymore. Grenade Launcher should do 2 hits to level with the plasma at 75 dmg (thanks Duke)

Nuke: Has a very wide radius it should be trimmed down some just a little bit not much.

Cerebral Bore: Kills no matter what health you have I think that's a total balance killer. Make it do like the plasma and only do 75 damage imo. I shouldn't just bea ble to SPAM the bores with NO SKILL. Just walk around and heat seek one shot with 10 shots. Only need to pick the weapon up 2-3 times and you will win. Screw skill....... Make it do less damage (75 damage) or give it 2-3 shots and spawn it every 3 minutes if its an auto kill.

At least they'd get some proper feedback from people who understand the Turok series...

I'm sure they're around here somewhere at least checking but yeah its odd because those two games must of consumed there lives the last few years and well this here is the REAL fan base of those games. We don't do it for recognition and getting known on steam we do it because we love Turok while they do it in hopes to get a new subscriber on YT.

Yeah Kaiser, Quasar, and Edward850 are active on the Doomworld forum which has gone on for years. So give us here a few more years. This forum is already impressive and rich with history in such a short period of time. You only get real fans here for the most part only crazy Turok fans BEWARE xD

But people here will be here for YEARS to come and have been playing for years even through the DEAD SILENCE. They should also be paying attention to gog users to some degree because I know at least 10 real Turok fans who are on gog. Anyways, 64 has direct connection with those guys since he is involved to a degree with the game. Maybe they just don't want to be all on here or gog so they could keep it all in one spot.

T2 even tells you your in for a hard time on level 2. Adon says "The River of Souls..." with disdain and disgust ..  :-[

The level itself can be a hard time, if you play in number order and without getting the good stuff from the Death Marshes, first.

PS: I love the Death Marshes map and the Lair of The Blind Ones is cool, too.

Yeah actually its really good to go to the Death Marshes first for exactly this reason. It also makes it so you don't have to return for the Primagen key once you get the talisman in Death Marshes then go back to the River of Souls. Btw River of Souls is one of my favorite levels for its level of confusion and its very large the scenery changes a hole lot. Love this level but it was a pain in the arse that's for sure lol.

Yeah the Caverns Blind Lair level map is my favorite mp map I mean it is well balanced and it has connectivity that's great for rok matches. I like the Death Marsh mp map also but it has no Plasma Rifle...Do you guys notice that the game has more of the N64 maps inside the folder: levels/n64?? It seems to have the rest of the N64 mp levels there.
