Yeah if Turok 3 comes out do we really need the mp? Idk if many would actually play the mp. Turok 3 should just be SP and let Turok 2 and Rage Wars do the mp talking!! But it would be cool to see the mp also I just don't know if it would actually be worth the pain. I mean die hard Turok fans would appreciate it very much! But I just don't see it getting much general play on the mp.

As for the sp game it shouldn't be that hard though, they could use Turok 2's kex engine and poke at it to match Turok 3. Its a matter of exporting everything from N64 and making everything align up in code on kex. Still a complicated task but Kaiser could do it. 

Another thing I would like to point out that might be hard to do for T3: The fact that you have to deal with two separate characters, weapons, and campaigns :O That might be something really tough that could result in tangling scripts and wacky stuff. I can just picture bugs showing up everywhere on both stories xD

A Turok history lesson you know your stuff :) Pretty much a lot of it has to do with some plans and decisions they decided to take on business matters and on the games rather then the product they had itself except for Turok 1 and 2.

Here I turned it into this, kind of reminds me of Jurassic Park :)


I mean this is still like the best Rage Wars pic. Reminds me of a combo of RW and Jurassic Park. I love how you used it on the steam group also man. Thanks for making me admin on the steam group btw. Now I can make announcements and stuff :)

I agree with ya on this one. It does get a bit stupid when people complain that the textures look more or less the same, then complain about the price. I know you can't please everyone, but wow, those guys don't seem grateful we even got Turok 2 remastered at all. As for people wanting Rage Wars and Turok 3, i want them ported too, but i know it'll take them a long time, and it won't be as easy as making DOOM 64 EX.

Exactly my friend at least we are getting a Turok at all man and us Turok fans we don't care about the price that much 20$ is fair enough. And I get it general gamers can have a say, but for them to act like we all want the same thing with hd textures and higher poly counts is outrageous. HD textures are ugly af but you don't see me going around telling everyone they need to not use them. Or me going around saying "we want only original textures". Here is the correction: I only want original textures.

That's the problem today. People are selfish af and its why I don't respond to anyone anymore except on this forum. If you see me talk other places its because I totally disagree with statements made towards my favorite games of all time by noobs who didn't care about the game until it was news again while acting like they love it.

Looks like a Lair of the Blind ones level right? Though I can't pinpoint which one. Colors are beautiful. About the hit detecions yes they were pretty bad for sp on both at times you could point blank an enemy with plasma...no damage but a mag 60 head shot dead!

Looks like a nice puzzle man I love the catacombs. I can't really tell from the picture layout you drew on the op. But how many levels are you tying to get in this??  Or is it going to be one big giant open world? Keep it up dude.

It's such a satisfying shotgun though. It just feels like no man should be able to use it because it's so powerful.

Only Turok can use it. Love the T2 shotgun actually when I think about it I love every Turok shotgun wow.

I'm not sure how random of a wish this is for Turok 2, but I want the flashlight to actually be useful. On the pc version an on emulators the flashlight did not work and on the N64 it was nothing more than a novelty item to show of the games dynamic lighting. While this was cool I don't think this really justified it being there. I hope that the areas where you were originally meant to use the flashlight are now close to pitch black and almost force you to use it if you don't know where you are going.

Honestly, I don't know how much I really want this in the game because it could be just annoying. I just think it could be a cool feature that would add more variety to the game. I wanted to throw this out there as the flashlight is about as useful as the Tranq. gun and it would nice to see it utilised better.

That sounds like an interesting idea the flashlight is pretty useless but true not sure if it will just be an annoyance or not. Still a good thought man, and gives me an idea if we make a user map that is dark and truly needs the flashlight to beat it. Sounds pretty awesome!

There is a huge difference between remaster and remake. Remaster is mostly inner engine upgrades and tweaks to run the game properly on modern specs without any hacks and adds some nice new bonus stuff that can be toggled. While remake is essentially remaking the hole game from scratch.

We have a winner for the million dollars bonus HAX :)
