Turok 2 Seeds of Evil / Re: Turok 2 EX Turok 2 remaster 2017

I won a multiplayer match, but I don't know how because I always have a hard time on multiplayers with a lack of skill and having people with lag armor because they're not all from my region. Scorpion Missile and Firestorm Cannon spam in closed in places! >:D

I did manage to pick up the Nuke and blast someone with it. It was fun, though extremely laggy. I was getting 1-6 FPS at some points and there were also times when my guns weren't firing anything. Hopefully that gets fixed soon and I might play more tomorrow. Give my PS4 a rest. xD

In Port of Adia, I didn't expect an Endtrail to be there at the first beacon switch. Being able to change the soundtrack between N64 and PC is pretty cool, too. I still prefer the N64 version, but I like the PC Port of Adia theme.

I never had the PC version, but I thought I saw that it was better with hit detection.

I've heard the first Turok on PC wasn't a good port and the music didn't work in the later levels.

Yeah, I was going to mention about how bad hit detection was back in the day.

You could one-shot with a Mag 60, but take so many shots with a Grenade Launcher. xD

I think that issue was only to N64 and not PC version?

There's something about the shotgun in any game that's satisfying... I guess it's when you can splatter enemies with it! >:D

As cool as the Shredder is, I still prefer the classic Shotgun. The sound and how the slash damage from the explosive rounds looked was always satisfying.

Lady Maria and honestly all of the dlc bosses for Bloodborne are some of the best and coolest ever made.

Lady Maria is probably the coolest just because of her amazing moveset and how fast the fight is.

I played like crap against her on my first play, but now I've had more practice. I even made a build dedicated to her. Just got her attire and Rakuyo. I've had the game since my birthday, back in July.

I could go on about this game (LOL), but I don't want to get off topic in this part of the forum. Best I go to the Random thread for this or even the PS4 one that I made.

Thanks, I'll make sure to check Shotzrox out at some point.

Off topic, I love Bloodborne as well. It's pretty much my favourite game of all time. Is that sacrilege to say in this forum? :)

I can't remember watching all Shotrox's videos, though. I did watch all of Eexecute's. Any Aussie slang words he may have said, I'd definitely understand them because I am Australian. xD

I just changed my signature before I posted here, because I was getting lots of Lady Maria screenshots. She doesn't stay still and there were many deaths... LOL! I just love her and it was worth it! My huntress probably hates me for letting her die (even though she can't, plus she's based on a female Reaper concept of mine) so many times, though... LOL!

We all like other games, too. Like Doom and I know a few like Duke Nukem and so on... Bloodborne is definitely one of my favourites of all time and so is Turok. I can't wait until T2 is on Steam.

Back to Shotzrox... I can't remember if he did all Turok games. It's been years.

I remember watching Eexecute years ago and was going to mention him.

I also remember watching some videos from Shotzrox.

Turok General Discussion / Re: Ideas For New Turok Game by Nightdive?

I'd like to know what became of the Mother boss from T2, seeming I saw "Mother" mentioned in here and was reminded. She never died and I'm sure something that tough wouldn't eventually die from losing some tentacle like fingers?

Definitely a Turok like the first two. I did enjoy T3, but some things seemed a bit rushed to me. I wished that could've been done a bit better, though I still enjoyed the Lost Land and the waterfalls, along with seeing a lot more types of Fireborn.

As much as I hated the underwater mazes in The Lair of The Blind Ones and got confused while looking for a key, I still liked the area. Especially the gemstone key rooms and the music is still my favourite. I'm going to listen to that track after posting this.

I'd like to see a return to some of the old places. Death Marshes was another place I liked, because it was like a medieval village and those Juggernaut's swords were the coolest weapons. Not fun to fight them, though! xD

Turok Dinosaur Hunter / Re: Turok EX

So, is there anything redeemable about the alien gun? I just cant seem to find a single good use for it where either the pulse rifle or the particle accelerator outperform it.

It's good for killing enemies on the first hit and then blasting their screaming corpses high into the air on the secondary! xD

I think the explosive blast can have some crowd control use and I know it can knock down trees on enemies. I'd normally use a Grenade Launcher on something like a Purr-Linn, though and I usually do on that first Purr-Linn you encounter at the Treetop Village.

Haven't played the Duke Nukem game, so I wouldn't know much about the map reference. I remember playing Manhattan Project years ago, though that was more a platformer.

I saw the key alter, but I thought I already had picked that up because I went to that gate area. I did get distracted a bit during play, because it was hot and the laptop gets real hot when on Steam... No pun! xD

I did find a few hidden areas, too.
