To be fair playing turok3 and rage wars on an emulator is quite comfortable if you customize the controls so they play like modern FPS.

I used to model some stuff back in the day, but this "nodes" things i never heard before.

I kinda understand the model is split into pieces or groups as N64 textures where all separate pieces instead of a single texture sheet containing everything for a single model.

To be honest, what would having that many members do? I dont think the amount of members would make any difference like making the game more well known, specially if some people are just doing you a favor, unless those people you know are hardcore doom/doom-clone fans, in which case I can see them liking this game.

Personally I would make it a public group. The game has a small enough following so that it wouldnt attract annoying users, and if they do they would be just a handful which would be easy to clean up.

Yeah, the stage and enemy placements werent the best, and the fact that you get locked on an area until you clear it, but I guess is a good start if they are smart enough to improve things in the next game.

WEll finally got to play DOOM 4 and its a really fun game.

I was really impressed by the enemies and the bosses, specially the bosses.  I barely see bossfights on FPS which are not heavily scripted and just have to shoot til it dies.

Im not quite sure how to feel about the chainsaw as your main source of ammo, since during fights you can replenish your favorite guns and never have to cycle trough the others because you ran out of ammo.

Also I hope the sequel gets to have an arcade mode or some way to have stages more traditional to what they where in the first games. Dont get me wrong, the stage layout is great in this game but when you think about it its quite straightforward with eventual "fight arenas"

I beated the game on hardcore sometime after my previous post, and I still think enemies dont get any more range of sight. The demons in stage 7&8 have more range by default so thats it.

I guess its just here for the people that felt insulted by not being able to see a bit more.

Hardcore diffuclty itself was very fun tough, and I really got to fiddle arounf more with the shockwave cannon. The range of a full charged shot is just insane.
