And I'm also wondering if it's possible to co-op the storymode with a friend? I've seen a few videos of people doing it but I've never managed to find out what platform they're playing on or how they're doing it. If anyone could give me a bit of clarity I'd really appreciate that, thanks!

I'm wondering this also, what kind of modification it will take to get 2 players into campaign mode in Turok 2 when it comes out. I'm sure there would need to be either angelscript or C+ involved, or both. Co-op would be something that would increase the mapping potential for battles and the amount of carnage a level could provide. The devs are saying Kex v3.4 so that would mean angelscript and C+. Smoke39 has some talent in this area.

Here's another announcement of the same as the other, but in the comments section the author of the article says the remasters are coming to Xbox one.

I would also think there should be news sometime today since GDC kicks into full swing today. I wish I had $500 to burn I'd fly up there. Anybody want to donate to send me?  :P

One thing that stands out to me is the character models are such a low level polygon count they look paper thin. I know that's the original form but it kind of takes away from the new graphics rendering. I wonder how the engine would handle higher resolution character models. Looks promising though, and Kex 3.4 - hmmmmm. We'll see soon.

Emo missed a lot of good stuff. I updated the screenshots with a picture of the minigun and grenade launcher locations. Remember you start with 3 lives in the level and there are 3 more lives if you get all the lifeforce pickups. Also 3 backpacks in the level so if you die you can still get another one. Thanks Emo!

Thanks Badger, I kept the pickups scarce to keep it challenging even though the enemies are not very difficult. There's a couple  minigun ammo, 2 grenade launchers and a lot of enemies drop grenades, a lot of explosive shotgun, ultra health pickup before the final battle. The idea was to make it a challenge even though the battles are introductory level. From there  the mapper can build harder levels and add them to the map via the hub system at the initial spawn point.

Hi Rok I didn't know there was a different compile for GoG version, that doesn't sound right. There was a bad model of mine in the beta1 version, try the beta2 and see if that loads up.
