Turok Dinosaur Hunter / So i've extracted all the sounds from the N64 ROM of the game« on: September 27, 2015, 09:43:24 PM »
Even though i do own a physical copy, i managed to extract all the sound effects from the N64 rom of the game, only thing is the pitch is off so to get the correct pitch you need to pitch them down properly in Audacity. However you can download them here if you wanna mess with them.
I also have some weapon sounds and campaigner voices and soldier sounds and other enemies that i have pitched down properly here. https://app.box.com/s/usbpntcrgkv0hs3k5f4nhnx6lpx72lkv I updated the download up here and included a bunch of more sound effects and stuff correctly pitched. I'm still trying to find which one is the Chronoceptor firing but no luck Here is all of the Turok SFX https://app.box.com/s/ore46znd5awtu94seinlx5wdxqsywuf5 have fun and enjoy. 6
Turok Dinosaur Hunter / Favorite weapon?« on: September 27, 2015, 03:17:48 PM »
As we know Turok has a vast array of toys to blast things with, though one of my personal favorite weapons in the game and it's exclusive to this game is the Pulse Rifle
It sounds cool it looks cool it's all around badass, one of reasons i also want multiplayer in Turok 1 is to use this bad boy against other opponents. Of course in Turok this isn't the only gun we have all of these bad boys: Knife Tek Bow Pistol Shotgun Auto Shotgun Assault Rifle Pulse Rifle Minigun Grenade Launcher Alien Weapon Quad Rocket Launcher Particle Accelerator Fusion Cannon Chronoscepter So what is your personal favorite? 7
Turok Dinosaur Hunter / Comparison video I made of the Nintendo 64 and Original PC release.« on: September 26, 2015, 04:02:50 PM »
Hey guys, i'm pretty excited for the remasters that are coming out and I really really hope they add a Multiplayer mode for Turok 1 because those guns could be even more fun and devastating in multiplayer as well.
In the mean time I put this video together, it's a series I call battle of the ports on my Youtube channel where I compared different versions of the same games if I happen to own them. In this case It's the first Turok! I hope you guys dig it!
