Turok lives again and this time takes on the dark side. This is a mini beta v0.1 mod that I will update in the future. It features a Tommy gun and a Doombuilder version of Blood One Unit Whole Bloods level 1 "Cradle To Grave". For those who don't know. In the game "Blood One Unit Whole Blood" the main character Caleb says "I live Again" When you start in level 1, and I've made it so when you pick up the Tommy it says that. This mod was inspired by the game Blood. One of my all time favorite games. And with Kaiser possibly working on Blood ex I'm more hyped. So what we have here is a quick action packed mod with just minor things for now.

This mod features a Tommy gun and a level from Blood that was remade in Doom (no room over room differences)

I will definitely be updating this mod with more things and of course polishes to existing, I'm aware several things are not perfect. I may want to add some WWII style levels and some Chicago style mafia levels (if possible) to cope with the Tommy Gun more. But its mostly headed in a Blood direction. Keep in mind I've only worked on this a few hours spread out on about 4 days. Enjoy for now.

Update V1



-1 new single player map. Just press start game as if you are starting the game normally. Collect feathers to unlock some doors and progress other ways also. (Nothing will tell you what feather goes to what but it shouldn't be hard. There is only 3 doors that unlock by feathers. Turn off death cinematics. If particles flicker use "r-useocclusionquery 0" before starting the map.

I love RE series especially the early ones anyone else here?? Short list of a few of the games and small opinion. Am I right?

Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 0 on Gamecube were my favorites of them all. I also liked Re1 on psx

Resident Evil 2 really good game definitely has the RE feel and the game picks up a pace I liked playing on N64 and PSX.

Resident Evil 3 was good too love Nemesis! And classic Tyrants its also really fun to play the Gamecube one xD if you find the storage you can pull out the infinite ammo weapon. Great RE game

Resident Evil 4 was good too but it took a different direction but overall the game was really good. I kind of missed the zombies though. I liked to play it on gamecube but ps2 was also nice.

Resident Evil 5 ehh it was fun but started losing me there. I liked that Chris was back and I even liked the partner I just think it wasn't that good of a game it never pulled me in though the same recipe was kinda there from RE4. Xbox 360

Resident Evil 6 I don't really like it the game really lost me but I did play it it was okay once again just not impressing me despite some of the neat features and action. New characters helped throw me off also. Pc and Xbox 360

Resident Evil 7 Looks okay, however I don't own it and its completely lost me now. Yeah it should be a spin off that would be cooler.

Which leads me to that conversation- the spin offs!

The spin offs are really good in RE I will mention a few.

Code Veronica x which is definitely the best spin off. This is a really good game better than some of the official releases. This game is really damn good! It could fit in with the main series. I played it on PS2 originally but later on Xbox live arcade.

Dead Aim was a point and shoot arcade style game where you point the gun at the screen and shoot zombies. I never got too far in the game but enjoyed some of it not to bad but nothing to good.  Played this on Ps2.

Outbreak 1 and 2. I still remember the escaped elephant Mammoth I think it was. That was a really fun game too it was different though it had some mp for it back then and I feel like it was the main focus its a really good game for that. Played on PS2.

Resident Evil Revelations 1 was really good game Jill is back and monsters are attacking you the view is classy and it starts to feel like maybe RE knows the direction to go! Very nice game could fit in the main series. Played on PC

Revelations 2 while it was good I just didn't get the same feeling as the first one but it had good characters in the game it wasn't bad. I think the chapter by chapter release threw me off. I kind of like it when they stick to one long story not throw you around a lot... Played on PC

This is one of the best series around for a reason. Anyone else like Re heh? There's nothing like playing it late night lights off play the classic RE1 or RE2 gamecube or hd. As a big fan of it I don't feel like they went the right direction the last game. I will rather just play RE0 again.

Turn "show death cinematics' off in the gameplay settings.
Play on Hard or Hardcore to get much more enemies and difficulty.

Fossil Cavern is a SP map branched from the mp map Caverns-1 from Turok 2 SoE Ex(2017 remaster). I created that mp map with the thought of it still somehow working as a sp map later. With much more features.

*Doom/Duke Nukem 3D style layout (collect keys to open the doors) you will need to collect the eagle feathers as keys. I made it so feathers are keys to open the doors. Explore the level find all the feathers and kill anything in the way!
*Fireborn enemies which you don't see often in the sp game.
*Fireborn variants- Iceborn(Icelord), Shockborn, and Bloodborn. Some of these enemies are still being worked on the Iceborn is the furthest along. Thank god for BP's Fireseed tool lol.
*Much larger map, multiple new areas added on to better correspond with SP.
*Faster shotgun speed (To keep up with the amount of enemies, I have sped up the shotgun fire speed).
*See Oblivion monsters in scenes you never seen them before deep in the caverns.
*Occasional spawned enemies to help guide your way and keep up a pace that's set.
*Bind a taunt key that makes you say BOO whenever you want (open console or edit the cfg file and type this on: bind v "PlayMpTaunt"
*Friendly Fireborns
*New Intro and Credits Screen
*Much more

Story:

Tal'Set seeks to make peace with the enemy known as the Fireborns. They have extended there family roots introducing Iceborns (Icelord), Shockborns, and Bloodborns. A darkness is shadowing The Lost Land. Turok is not the only one aware. The Fireborns have reached out to Turok to meet them in an unknown location. Somewhere deep in a Cavern. Turok knows it could be an ambush but he must make peace with enemies to stop a darker force. Oblivion is back and this time it threatens all life forms in The Lost Land. Possessing those who even see the shadows. The Fireborns offer there peace treaty ally partnership in exchange for cleaning there homes of the darkness. They understand that some of there members are already possessed. But this journey has only begun.

I don't know what this game is just heard of it. I don't know if I'm even interested but screw it they have a beta key sign up here maybe someone would be interested. Some features look pretty good got to admit.
