Hi All, I was looking for help around the web and I found a amazing article that is short and sweet regarding id software. I thought I would share it here. And to my surprise I find this phenomenal post spouting all the Glory of an id game. I haven't read them all yet but I read the first few pages and you guys are awesome.
Yes indeed commander keen, Doom 2016 does shatter and describe the future of modern gaming coming later this year which will be called Quake Champions. And it was good, and The Amazing Carmack rested.
You know long ago when modern gaming was young, people used to hire John Carmack to write code for them as a freelance programmer and I would not be surprised to find out that the Turok engine has John Carmacks fingerprints in there somewhere. And in that general regard, I mention this article which is a small tribute to id software and their glorious contribution to modern gaming. http://www.mapcore.org/articles/general/the-influence-of-quake-is-still-felt-today-r82/
