Turok General Discussion / Re: new Turok score 20 years in the works

Nice. I am happy to see you get this. I got mine over a year ago as well.

The first time I had played Turok Evolution in 2003, when we rented it from Blockbuster, I made it to the second area where the brachiosaurs are in the water, and couldn't figure out how to get to the next area. So I gave up and returned the game. Little did I know that I would come back to that game much later as a huge fan.

We have a lot of concept art, and a video or two. But nothing of any of the actual content. No downloadable models, or anything from the actual game itself. I would like to take a closer look of anything from the game

There has to be someone who has the rest of the content. I know Propaganda Games no longer exists, and that Touchstone still holds the rights. But someone has to have something that we can look at in more detail in some programs. Anyone?

Turok General Discussion / Has anyone ever read the Turok novels?

There are four of them. One is called Turok's Gift, and the other is Turok's Tribe. I forget the other two.

Turok General Discussion / Re: What Turok is your favorite? (poll)

My favorite is the Turok 2008 reboot. I just really enjoy how they tried to make a story out of it, and how they added elements from things such as Gears of War and Star Trek (Terraforming). And how they stayed true to the  Dinosaur Hunter moniker. And what I mean by that is the dinosaurs. The original NES games had more than dinosaurs, they had fantastical monsters. That is interesting, but as a fan of the original comic series, I just liked the dinosaurs.

Granted, later in the original comic series there were such things as Aliens, and Monsters, but the series was on point with the dinosaurs.

If you were to make a new Turok comic book series, What would you introduce, add, take away, etc.

Is the vote over? I would vote, but don't know how.

I unashamedly admit to liking the 2008 Turok the most.

Then the original, and then Seeds of Evil.

Turok General Discussion / Lets have a Turok Meme competition
« on: June 18, 2016, 08:05:50 PM »
It seems there are too few Turok memes floating around. Turok originates before the great design we call memes. Yet they help awareness of franchises, series, etc, through humor.

The Turok franchise, whether it be Son of Stone, Dinosaur Hunter, comic books, video games, is rich with a lot of stuff that could be used as a meme. OR, we can always use existing popular memes, and have jokes on them concerning annoying, funny, disturbing stuff, etc.

Make any kind of meme, and post it here! We would love to see your creativity.
