yes the troops look a little awkward right now that was just my first pass at the retex for them, and to get used to the workflow involved with their textures. So heres another vid i made real quick, showing the first pass at the mini gun and its ammo, and a funny ass longhunter whom i have decided will be played by....JON VOIGHT from ANACONDA(the model for the longhunter is poorly modeled, there is two areas around the temples that pinch in and become concave, making the eyes go all fetal alcohol syndrome Posted by: Adon« on: January 28, 2016, 12:00:04 PM »in the meantime, heres some ugly poacher/campaigner grunt retexture tests Lol they look funny but know its WIP ![]() Also, I like the trex and tech raptors. Neat! Posted by: Jay Doomed« on: January 28, 2016, 11:29:03 AM »Looking nice man I shared a video of your on the Turok facebook page

There's a couple more vids up now that I didn't post, Posted by: Rok« on: January 25, 2016, 07:48:56 PM »Damn dude the quickness. Good updates Trex looks nice though. So are you saying you messed with the trex model to better define his teeth?
Posted by: Dakuwan« on: January 24, 2016, 05:41:45 PM »WIP rough retex, no touch ups, no corrections, blind retexting. and the teeth used to be about 6 or 8 large pyramidal molars. this was a test to see if i could weasle some more teeth effect out of the original tex wrap Damaged limbs coming soon... I noticed a few people have been re texturing the game some which is cool, but I only pay attention to this one since its on the forum
![]() Besides it appears you have got the most work done on re-texturing. Also, I like the triceratops as red he actually looks kind of cool imo. Good job can't wait to see more ![]() Posted by: Dakuwan« on: January 21, 2016, 01:43:16 PM »indeed adon, condensed is best.
yeah about the color of the trike, i can adjust to to what it was like originally i just have not got around to doing that. and incase i forgot check this link to my youtube, and you can check out some small videos i made regarding the development of the textures, and see the creatures or what not in motion. Its all a WIP https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRm-WPOCa_ZTRwBTC4XSCSw im going to adding the alien grunt to this here in the next day or two Posted by: Adon« on: January 21, 2016, 01:16:19 PM »I work and have kids to its tough trying to squeeze a hobby in. But good job on this glad you have good intentions to stay true to the spirit of the game as that's what real Turok fans may like most. High res mods are never meant for everyone on any classic game but there are always some who appreciate and enjoy that a lot. Anyways, glad to have someone who truly cares about the game doing re-textures. They look pretty good my favorite so far is the leaper but the trikes new colors are nice new touch making him somewhat reddish orangish I think cool stuff. I support this
Keep it up! and having it all in one thread is best ![]() |
