![]() The best thing that I found is create custom weapon keys. If your playing with a controller, I'm sorry. For the weapon binds, I use Q-E-R-F-G-3-V and keys 1-2 for scope zoomin/ zoomout So go to the options menu and select 'Bindings' from the left side menu. Then change the weapon slot to the key you want to use for that weapon. Here's the list of weapon slots; Weapon slot 1 = Talon and War Blade Weapon Slot 2 = Bow and Tek Bow Weapon Slot 3 = Pistol and Mag 60 Weapon Slot 4 = Charge Dart Rifle and Tranquilizer Gun Weapon Slot 5 = Shotgun and Shredder Weapon Slot 6 = Plasma Rifle and Firestorm Cannon Weapon Slot 7 = Flamethrower and PFM Layer (landmines) Weapon Slot 8 = Grenade Launcher and Rocket Launcher Weapon Slot 9 = Cerebral Bore and Razor Wind (sawblade boomerang) Weapon Slot 10 = Nuke Weapon ? (I don't have it yet) Weapon Slot 11 = Sunfire Pod Weapon Slot 12 = Flare So if you push the key one time you get the primary weapon and then press the key again and you get the second weapon. Both weapons use the same ammo. If you are out of ammo for any weapon type, you will be unable to equip that weapon until you get ammo. So I learned this by trial and error. But it's much better than using the mouse wheel. You can also open your .cfg file and make the changes there if you know how to edit the file with a text editor (notepad or wordpad or other text editor). gl - hf - Gazer Edit: Right on Duke64 ![]() Edit Again: That is her first post, congratulations! ![]() Just know everyone it was hard for the guys doing this game its like if you moved one bone another collapsed. It was risky to make changes because changes could break other parts (that's generally speaking from me). I do hope the mp is more leveled for the classic T2 mp players since they will be the ones playing still once the hype blows over. The team is working hard and they aren't done yet is all I can say truthfully. Anyway, the Primagen pissed me off today so I sent him LINKS ![]() ![]() Posted by: AbyssalDragon86« on: March 19, 2017, 12:40:50 AM »Yeah, the weapons changing erratically are a bit annoying. I've tried changing that setting, too.
At some stage I'll try hosting, but I'm unsure if people will be able to have a stable match if they're not from in Australia... Sometimes it sucks living here. - The main game: I had a bit of a glitch. When I loaded my game in the "Courtyard" part of River of Souls (towards the level's end portal), I was next to the Adon portal and trying to snipe the Endtrail with the Tek Bow from above. This was with the standard arrows and they were just disappearing in thin air. Eventually, the issue stopped and I was able to shoot them while in sniper mode, again. It's the first time it's happened. Another glitch with arrows I had yesterday was in the palace area, when fighting the raptors. I couldn't pick a few up from one corpse and I didn't have full capacity. Luckily, there's an arrow respawn location before the labyrinths. Just make at least the weapons like the old ones please! And I didn't tick the auto-switch new weapon option and it still changes to the new weapon when I pick it up. Maybe it's a bug.
I was really looking forward to the remastered version but I already regret that I bought it because I love to play with other ppl but it's no use when it's no fun. Posted by: Gazer« on: March 18, 2017, 08:44:12 PM »Be glad you don't have to deal with the Steam forums - lol - muthapussbucket
![]() I am through LvL5 and 1/2 way into Primagens Lightship. But I don't have the Nuke weapon parts for lvls 3-5 yet, gotta go back. On Hard Hey Dinomite - How far did you get in SP? Posted by: chirac31« on: March 18, 2017, 04:12:05 PM »what about the text to speech taunts?

There's lots of video's already, probably someone will post here for you and you'll never get what you want. Just buy it already. ![]() Posted by: Mon-Ark« on: March 18, 2017, 02:48:26 PM »you tried checking footage of the original PC port? thats pretty much the n64 version without anything new other than a better framerate.
The weapons have been tuned so they work better. Posted by: Dinomite« on: March 18, 2017, 02:35:57 PM »One thing i can credit this remaster for it the incredibly high quality voice clips. Where did they get em from? An archive?

I'm sure New Zealand players (if any?) may be able to join an Aussie host, as well? I know from God of War that Aus/NZ players seemed to play mostly lag free, but that was on there, which is different. Posted by: Duke64« on: March 18, 2017, 11:43:36 AM »Guys I find it better to not run matches with 16 players it lags less for me when I am hosting with like 8 players is better for me. Abyssal it seems like you are joining servers that are not close to you this is p2p connection atm so try hosting sometime or finding a server closer to you it might improve your performance.
Rok match is classic old dm Rok Mix is classic dm but you spawn with a random weapon and the N64 weapons are mixed in with the pc weapons in this mode. (Awesome) Last Turok standing is you can only die once the last player alive wins you start with 250 health and all weapons. Frag Tag is monkey tag from n64 mp. Different players randomly become the monkey. The monkey has to reach the talisman and the players try to kill him before reaching it. Returning the monkey or killing the monkeyy is the only way to get points. I'd also like to see gameplay of with the Bloom filter DISABLED, FOV set near the original's, playing with a controller and have motion blur disabled. Pretty much as close to the original PC / N64 versions. I'd like to see how the new remaster performs compared to the original. Most of the video's I've seen are played using keyboard & mouse and that's fine, but I want to see what the N64 version would be like if it ran at a smooth 60fps. |
