Will this help me play Turok 2 Seeds of Evil on Steam? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/pny-nvidia-geforce-gtx-950-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-black-blue/4457400.p?skuId=4457400

I can't fully answer that because I don't know your pc hehe and I'm certainly not the best with specs. I will tell you one thing both of those are higher than what I have. I have Nvidia gtx870 and it works just fine.

Just finished the campaign for the first time ever.  I'm kinda underwhelmed.

The graphics are great, but there are way too many samey corridors.  There are reasonably distinctive locations, but they're all tangled up in loads of indistinguishable connective tissue.

The weapons are cool, but combat seemed to mostly amount to shooting something in the head and then proceeding to the next corridor.

To be honest, overall it kinda felt like a poor man's Unreal.

Would you be able to pin point a favorite level?

I won't be playing now since I was told my pc is to old

Who told you that? I don't know if you are thinking that is what I said though... I'm just saying it has to be spec related since only a few are seeing this and others not. But didn't say that means a pc is old unless someone else said that and Idk.

I have to wait intil the next update to play T2 cause of an error that appears

Yeah it is with intel because only some intel pc's at certain specs will work I believe. It would be cool if that got fixed for anyone with that issue sorry to hear that.

This game is very moddable though I'm really liking that can't wait to see what comes up. Already digging in files almost everything can be modded/adjusted and shared again like T1.

happens  when you start the game  the screen goes black and nothing happens when you go to the bar down below  says 150  when you hit the x on that it closes the game

that what happens when I  start the game    seems it only effect people with intel cards  cause when I read the comments everyone of them says intel cards  hopefully the update that I heard comes out tomorrow  so that way  I can join the  fun

WoW @ Alicia she's talkied more in 2 days than she has in 2 years. Now we can't shut her up.  ;)
They're mostly good guys around here - lol - but don't bring 'em home to daddy.

I am confident that some guys in the group here know, how to adjust weapon damage. And I do believe that Kaiser and Co. will get us some kind of server config/setup/browser/dedicated/fixthelagg thingy. As with all things it will probably take a little while. I used that CPU set affinity tweak last night and I got a great multiplayer experience, and I won a few matches. I need to test that some more. You guys and gals should test it too and see if it is a solution to some of the MP jaggedness. With a game like this, it takes a village to hash out whats good and bad. And then a few guys do the heavy lifting and create some solutions.

I like that chirac guy he's got some passion. Like Turok - chirac huh - get it? Really though I'm just a noob here and you people have been great to hang out and work with. Now we get to play together, yay  :D

Duke where's that server at, I'm gonna plaster you all over those tooty fruity walls. :p

P.S. Dinomite maybe you'll get to like the game once they fixed and changed all these things :) did you already  buy the remastered version of T2 btw?
I have the remaster and the netcode and multiplayer are even worse than the original to be honest. :/

Well i agree with you so let's just hope that it'll get better... at least it can't get worse i guess :)

First: Thank you everyone :) I dind't think that someone would even read my post honestly.

I spent about 30 mins to 1 hour on mp tonight to test it before posting my opinion here. Maybe it will get better with more practice but there are many obstacles we have to overcome first.
For example like AbyssalDragon86 said: it's a problem to host servers because players often get timeouts or (like me) can't even join a Server because of the distance. The old community had players all over the world and i guess it would be great for all of us to be able to play together without taking the country we live in into consideration. That's just my opinion.

Second: Many weapons like for example the Tek Bow or the Plasma Rifle are kinda strange compared to the original weapons in the MP from Turok 2. The Tek Bow shoots too fast in my opinion and the Plasma Rifle shoots to slow and doesn't make enough damage. The Plasma Rifle was the ultimative weapon in the old MP because it made -100 HP damage (except when you hit the weapon) and now it seems like it makes about -50 HP damage? And it explodes more when it hits something. That may be a positive effect when you're not able to hit the enemy dircetly but on the other side it's a pity that is so weak now. The Grenade Launcher was similar to the Plasma Rifle when the grenades hit an enemy directly they made a -100 HP damage aswell but in the new MP it seems like it makes about -50 HP damage too. I don't know but if I get hit by a grenade I would die.
There are other weapons aswell that changed alot but I guess it's enough for now :)

Third: Thank you for the hint Gazer!
the problem is, that I don't play T2 often so I'll forget on which key I put the weapons I need ^^'
I'll just wait for an update where the bug with the auto-switch new weapon option gets fixed hopefully :)
And until then I'll try not to pick up weapons while fighting. Or just won't play.

I'm looking forward to an update :)

P.S. Dinomite maybe you'll get to like the game once they fixed and changed all these things :) did you already  buy the remastered version of T2 btw?

Hey Dragon, try this link, it is easy and it seemed to even out my framerate. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=885625877

open 'task manager' before you start the game (right click the taskbar), start T2 and then alt+tab to task manager>processes>horus_x64.exe>(right click) Set Affinity>uncheck CPU 3. then OK

it seemed to help, try it and see  :o

Okay, I'll give that a look before I try anything.

Sometimes in the main game I get a bit of frame chop, but not bad like I've had it in the multiplayer.
