) see what you mean regarding the invisible player skins. That does seem like a bit of a game killer. I mean what happens if everyone on a map chose to go invisible... That could be pretty boring!
Still, aside from that major oversight it looks pretty fun overall. Here's hoping they fix the skins thing once they've got more stable and usable net code in place.
As for your thoughts on the relationship to Quake, I think you're probably right. For me, that's a good thing. Quake is a fantastic series and deserves more praise in the mainstream than it gets.
Half-Life isn't the be-all, end-all of the FPS legacy. There. I said it. Feeling better now...

Anyway, back on topic. How's the second patch doing? Has anyone spent much time with it yet? I'm really curious to see how it's all going for the GOG update.
