My least favorite would have to likely be the Hive of the Mantids, I always found it to be a huge labyrinth and everywhere looked almost the same at least for me.
Primagens Lightship was pretty cool to see all the technology and what true power the Primagen has. His robotic minions were intimidating to look at and it ensured that the Primagen doesn't have much access to the outside world except for his lightship. It did use a lot of the same color most of the time but I liked it.
River of Souls introduced us to the awesome rideable dinosaur with the attached guns, but we only got to use it for a few minutes until we were sent back on foot, which kinda disappointed me but that was still a cool thing. But running through the city itself, I found it rather dull to look at with the only two colors I could see were the obvious Gold and Silver tones. But I liked it with it's architecture and the interesting River of Souls itself. The palace section is really cool to play through as well.
I don't remember that much of the Lair of the Blind Ones that much but I do remember being the same sort of labyrinth that the Hive of the Mantids was on. I did really like the enemies and the environments you encountered in them though, so I feel it was good.
The Death Marshes to me weren't anything that really struck me. It was a nicely designed level with badass enemies and an interesting sort of swampish city with unique designs which I've never seen that much of in gaming. But it was pretty short in terms of length of actual playtime. I dunno if it's just me that found this to be an extremely short level compared to the others, but nonetheless I believe it's a good level.
The Port of Adia like Old One Eye said is my favorite, likely due to nostalgia clouding my senses but I feel it deserves the praise it gets, especially since this is the very first level we see in Turok 2. It had an interesting city to explore in, the dinos were scary the first time you looked at them in that first hallway, and a lot more. You could say Adia had the same Gold and Silver which I thought made the city slightly less interesting to look at which I can agree. Unlike River of Souls, Adia had a lot more buildings and yes Souls did have buildings but you didn't see that much of them.

I have to admit that every time I start a new game the opening are of Adia hits me right in the nostalgia. It's a great introduction to the game too. The exploding ship, the intro to your objectives, the distant cries of battle... and no tutorial getting in the way!

My favorite level is probably Port of Adia though I like how an endtrail was placed in the start. Good subtle change but I just like the level lots of cool parts like the explosions.

@Everyone end this stuff about steam please. I don't log in here to see about steam or steam users enough already please. I understand what you're saying and all but this has been said already more than once.. Also, please don't line up or compare the forums members with how relevant an opinion is against steam users/general users on the matter of subjects. Bottom line this is a Turok forum not steam everyone thanks. Posting suggestions on here is okay with me but the other stuff about all that madness with die hard fans and steam or gog xD, there doesn't even need to be words about that.
@Chirac I understand you want to keep it fresh in the mind of the devs, I don't see anything wrong with that because yeah they will probably have another game to attend to someday so you get as much out of it as you can in the moment. But also like Gazer said it has only been about 2 weeks since the release a lot of the updates were focused on bugs specific to certain amd pc's, fixes to the sp, and optimizations. Some have been directed to mp though. I know that they do check gog, here, and most likely anywhere there is a subject about it. How often? I don't know but I'm pretty sure they check leave it at that be sure to say your words across all the sites if you guys feel the need. Turok has always been a single player experience first and foremost, multiplayer wasn't a focus until rage wars, getting upset that a small dev team with limited funds isn't doing a 1:1 copy of the awful pc port isn't gonna make things any better.
I wouldn't say that Turok 2 has always been a sp and a mp experience to some people. I know people who have played probably over 100k hours on T2 mp but haven't beaten the sp once. There was clans and everything had a big following look it up there is a bunch of documentary on it. They reached out to the devs the same way its happening here and Iguana responded for the most part giving them there best they could at the time. Stay cool everyone be easy

Sorry, im still trying to understand whats the problem in question when only the diehard fans are the only ones standing.
You mean that they might leave the game unfixed and move one into their next project?

I'm saying the common steam users will be done soon, they're just waiting on a new game. The number of mp players has already dropped from what I hear. Soon you will be left with the die hards and modders. Not general steam users they will go play the new hot fab game coming out. I don't mean it in anyway except FACT.
Also please read Chiracs post he mentioned that he contacted in other ways including steam. I'm not saying completely fuck steam users. I'm saying if you don't listen to the people who would play this over any other game. You may not even keep them around I seen a server on classic t2 mp that reads remaster sucks. Which I don't agree with but you can see that pathway.

what does that even mean? if a common steam user asked for the same things to get changed it would count less because they are not die hard fans?
If you feel they dont check the GOG forums, try something different like sending an email to nightdive listing bugs or possible changes.

I do hope they are reading here and on the T2 forum of Chirac. I don't hate steam as much as Jay Doom (maybe because I dont even use steam) but solely listening to only steam user? 9/10 of them are around just because the game is back in action. Anyways, please hear out the life long fans of this game. I hope you listen to us because we are not here just to mod the game and get some recognition. You now hearing real die hard fans who would TRASH every other game just for Turok.

im realistic, i understand you think im a little rude, and i recognize it to, but if you are looking back the nightdive studios games, and if you are looking for the next products youll see that this studio wont let more time and more energy to a remaster version by the others remasters versions they have dev and they will dev. So i think it's now or never if they will have to change and put add, then we have to be hear by them loud and clear before they put their energy and time on another game to remaster. this kind of enterprise is here not for the players specially, they just live by the aura of the old games they are remastering. Once the first weeks passed after the release, the period where they have lot of chances to make the much money this game can do to them, they put their ll efforts and time to the next one that will make money for them, they won't put free add to turok2 all the year. work =money.

chirac hey I admire your passion. It really shows that you LOVE this game and all, I think we all know that by now.
The game is only been available for 13 days. It is unreasonable to expect "the devs" to make changes to the game because you want it. Especially in less than 2 weeks from the first release. It sounds like you are saying bad things about the game. Calm down a little and let them do the work. They have made a lot of changes already. More are coming.
Take it easy buddy. 13 days. Please.

agree with you vis, im surprised not see an update to rule this net connexion problem.... it's weird., you should post on the steam forum your problem, i dont know if devs really read our posts here cause we dont see real changes since this game is here now, and im worried about that. i tried to point lot of problems by twitter, facebook, steam, etc but no any reaction from devs....

...reading all up... i can say same: remaster is near 0 % competitive game, which means goal of dev was to make very fun game, where any1 can win, no mater skill...and they did make it, np. But i wish to point, again, on most, dominant problem: net code/no dedicated servers/no stability in playing! I would like to play this, fun game, cuz many people are in, who i know from old T2 mp, and i met new, good guys and that is damn good reason to ignore all problems mention up (when you with right persons, is no mater what you doing, where are you hehehe)... Just, it's hard to play when no stable net/host. Now, about videos, tnx guys! When it works how it should, friends are in, then remaster is very fun game, for me, i will continue to play it and record videos! : )

Nice matches Vis nice to see videos from you on this game good job!
Does anyone find that the cerebral bore is op? I had 250 ultra health and the cerebral bore killed me in 2 seconds. I don't remember it being that powerful. Played with someone who only went after the bore and spammed the hell out of it. It was a very spamming bs match and I can see how the bore ruins mp. When you get 10 one shot kill heat seeking bores to spam. I think the weapon should spawn ever 3 minutes and only carry 5 shots. Not spawns every 20 seconds with 10 shots. You can end a match real quick and always win and spoil the fun just go for the bore if you want to be a shameless winner. To bad I still beat that guy good try.
Weapon Damages that should be modified some to help balance:
Shotgun: Only does 20 damage I think it should do like 35-40 (40 is still less than the original damage but 20 damage feels like a pistol) The shredder buff renders the weak shotgun nearly useless.
Grenade Launcher: I have to hit a player like 3-5 times to get a kill with a grenade? This makes the weapon useless unless you fnd two players who are about to kill eachoher and steal there kills after they are hurt otherwise don't even bother with this weapon anymore. Grenade Launcher should do 2 hits to level with the plasma at 75 dmg (thanks Duke)
Nuke: Has a very wide radius it should be trimmed down some just a little bit not much.
Cerebral Bore: Kills no matter what health you have I think that's a total balance killer. Make it do like the plasma and only do 75 damage imo. I shouldn't just bea ble to SPAM the bores with NO SKILL. Just walk around and heat seek one shot with 10 shots. Only need to pick the weapon up 2-3 times and you will win. Screw skill....... Make it do less damage (75 damage) or give it 2-3 shots and spawn it every 3 minutes if its an auto kill.
Yeah, the Cerebral Bore is OP and I just mentioned this on your map thread. I came across a someone the other night who had this and the Nuke. Obviously, he had a few Nukes because I was the first player to join and who knows how long the host's match had been started for... I only left after because someone had a match set to 5 Frags as the limit and it was over before I had a chance to enjoy it. Spam is a real killer of multiplayer games. I never played the old MP, but I'm not bothered at the Cerebral Bore being a one-shot killer in this, seeming I would expect a weapon like that to be. After all, it's drilling and then blasting brains all over the place. It's how easy it is to spam and pick up which I agree needs to be changed. All you gotta do is camp in the location and presto! Of course, you can outrun it but it does get pretty fucking annoying when that's all you come across in a match with a dozen others. Speaking of Shotgun... I got some good kills with it in these matches that I just had. I'm trying to limit my Shredder spam (use it as a last resort in tight areas or flush out those snipers taking cover ) and I also avoided getting the Cerebral Bore too many times. Myself and Brahms had a good shootout when we were the only players in Vulcan's Forge. The only thing I camped for up there was the Full Health. The Shotgun was all I needed. I would've thought the Shotgun did more damage and that it's damage reduced over distance... Anyway, the Shotgun is still a good weapon and does require a skilled aim, even if the buckshot is wider covering. It's not a long distance shot. It's all about Deflection Shooting in this game, too. It's not always easy, but it's much more satisfying when you kill with skill.
