I've heard the first Turok on PC wasn't a good port and the music didn't work in the later levels. I feel like it was the same on PC because it was a pretty bad port and they probably didn't bother to fix it.

You could one-shot with a Mag 60, but take so many shots with a Grenade Launcher. xD I think that issue was only to N64 and not PC version?  As cool as the Shredder is, I still prefer the classic Shotgun. The sound and how the slash damage from the explosive rounds looked was always satisfying. If you still have the disc, there's a PC fix for it. It really makes the game playable. So with a little tweaking the PC version works. it's called TUROK 2.7z and it's about 550 MB. It works. I think I had to use 7-Zip to unpack the update, regular WinRAR would not work. Then install over PC disc version.
