I'm playing Seeds right now, for the first time in many years. PC version +v2.7 fanedit/fix. That muthapussin' 'River of Souls' is a miserable level. I remember now!

I hope Nightdive reworked that level some to make it flow better. I wonder how many hours I spent - lost - in this level. I did it again, got stuck in there. At least now on PC there are you tube videos to save the day. I didn't have a PC back in the 90's when this came out. Hahaha.  >:(

Looks like a Lair of the Blind ones level right? Though I can't pinpoint which one. Colors are beautiful. About the hit detecions yes they were pretty bad for sp on both at times you could point blank an enemy with plasma...no damage but a mag 60 head shot dead!

I never had the PC version, but I thought I saw that it was better with hit detection.

I've heard the first Turok on PC wasn't a good port and the music didn't work in the later levels.

Well I mostly played the N64 version and it was definitely present there. I feel like it was the same on PC because it was a pretty bad port and they probably didn't bother to fix it.

Yeah, I was going to mention about how bad hit detection was back in the day.

You could one-shot with a Mag 60, but take so many shots with a Grenade Launcher. xD

I think that issue was only to N64 and not PC version?

Hopefully splash damage will actually work in the new remaster. Maybe then it will be more fun use to the grenade launcher.

There's something about the shotgun in any game that's satisfying... I guess it's when you can splatter enemies with it! >:D

As cool as the Shredder is, I still prefer the classic Shotgun. The sound and how the slash damage from the explosive rounds looked was always satisfying.

Only Turok can use it. Love the T2 shotgun actually when I think about it I love every Turok shotgun wow.

Yeah, with the new version out in two weeks I might just try that first. Hopefully it will be like playing it again for the first time.

Hi Primagen, I'm new here too. Welcome and I read your other post about the PC version of original Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil ... for PC. If you still have the disc, there's a PC fix for it. It really makes the game playable. So with a little tweaking the PC version works. it's called TUROK 2.7z and it's about 550 MB. It works. I think I had to use 7-Zip to unpack the update, regular WinRAR would not work. Then install over PC disc version.

But with the new version coming out soon I'm sure the Nightdive reboot will put that version to shame.
