The coolest weapon though was the PSG (Personal Singularity Generator) because it was similar to the Chronoscepter you had to get the parts.

It's pretty ambiguous as to what happened to Joshua. There were a handful of story tidbits in Turok 3 surrounding Adon and the Council of Voices that hinted at something going on behind the scenes, especially concerning the Yvree character who takes Adon's role. It seems like the Council doesn't want Josh to return for some reason, but we don't really have anything to go on. With all these plot threads, I wonder why they made a prequel to Dinosaur Hunter instead of continuing this series of events. If I could choose, I would've gone with a Turok/Shadow Man crossover game. Have Joshua's spirit end up in Deadside after being possessed by Oblivion, and Adon teams up with Michael LeRoi to save him. The thing is that Adon stepped down as speaker of light to save Josh in Turok 3. Sacrificing who and what you are for someone is undeniable love but it could be seen that she already was liking him before this so I think you are right. But I wonder if they planned these stories or were they free for alling it as time went on. Either way deep story in Turok 3 for sure.

The story is quite deep there she steps down as the speaker of light, to try and save Joshua.
