Yes indeed, the only concept art i have seen is in that documentary i posted and in that David Dienstbier even talks about combining different animals and insects to make hybrid creatures. it's baffling and upsetting the many changes and the loss of these interesting designs for lesser ones in the development of Turok 3 but here's hoping someone can datamine the protos/betas and find models like "the mutant" and maybe others!

We kind of see now where they were going with this originally, you see the beta oblivion hound as a scorpion type thing, and we have a mutant here with a fly head (which most likely was replaced with the Stryders). Makes you wonder what other enemies originally had different designs, and if any concept art exists.

The mutant just wants to be loved...look, it wants a hug!

Looks like it's straight out of a Turok creepypasta.

Hi! first image is from Nintendo official magazine May issue 92 https://imgur.com/Y9Lk3FS

2nd image is from here http://www.nintendo64ever.com/Nintendo-64-Game-Previews,362,Turok-3-Shadow-of-Oblivion,1.html

and the 3rd image is from...well the magazine no longer has a cover (almost 20 years old it is!) but is once again from the English Nintendo official magazine and Perfect Dark is featured as the "big game"

(EDIT) Just noticed flying hover cars

If you don't mind my asking, which magazine did you find this in?

I hope so, would be great to see in action!
Looks like a alt version of the normal Stryder enemy, the article i got the image from has the regular Stryder featured as well.
(EDIT) Found another image

I wonder if its in the files... If it's not in the retail copy, it definitely is in the leaked protos / betas of the game.

Hello!
I was looking through some old N64 magazines and saw this lovely chap, the mutant.

(sorry about picture quality, i don't have a scanner atm)

Looks like outside the boiler room from the first level with no door.
haven't seen him in any of the beta roms. is it even possible to find the model in the game files?
also beta firestorm cannon.

Turok 3 has always interested and baffled me since it was first released, so many questions about its development!

EDIT: Added images instead of links
