Upon taking the time to go into the game again, i also remembered a few other things.

1. There are a lot of cut features from the game, so if Night Dives wants to add those back in, it'll take time to put those back in place, especially as stated previously, there's 2 sides to the same campaign, so adding weapons and such back into the game, it's a bit of a challenge to see what'll fit.

2. As stated, the multiplayer will need a netcode to be online (most likely using steam's naitive multiplayer servers or GoG Galaxy), and some of the arenas don't appear to look like they'll handle more than four players (Shipping and Receiving i'm looking at you), so having upwards of 8-16 players could be difficult unless there's an overhaul to some of the levels.

3. The single player campaign would also require some redesigns for new features (may not be a surprise considering the changes with Turoks 1 and 2) and visuals. The weapons could also use a few more touch ups, but what i would like to see is Joshua's playable form to have his own dialogue (as he mostly uses Danielle's dialogue, though i believe he uses some of Joseph's lines as well), but i know for that to happen, the original voice actor for Joshua would have to come back, and i'm not sure if he's still around, or at least willing to revoice him if given the option.

The original voice actor is still around! Duke64 spoke to him not to long ago ;) But would he be up to do more Turok voice acting is the real question. That was years ago now so idk if he still would want to do more Turok :) Sounds good. Man Turok 3 would be nice to get.

Yeah if Turok 3 comes out do we really need the mp? Idk if many would actually play the mp. Turok 3 should just be SP and let Turok 2 and Rage Wars do the mp talking!! But it would be cool to see the mp also I just don't know if it would actually be worth the pain. I mean die hard Turok fans would appreciate it very much! But I just don't see it getting much general play on the mp.

As for the sp game it shouldn't be that hard though, they could use Turok 2's kex engine and poke at it to match Turok 3. Its a matter of exporting everything from N64 and making everything align up in code on kex. Still a complicated task but Kaiser could do it.

Another thing I would like to point out that might be hard to do for T3: The fact that you have to deal with two separate characters, weapons, and campaigns :O That might be something really tough that could result in tangling scripts and wacky stuff. I can just picture bugs showing up everywhere on both stories xD

I would love to see Turok 3 Remastered, but i think it'll be more difficult due to a few reasons.

1. Since most likely it would be rebuilt from the ground up, it would probably take as long if not longer than Turok 2.

2. Porting it from N64 to PC would be a bit tougher than porting DOOM 64.

3. For the most part, the game was rushed, so there would probably be issues with the source code when rebuilding the game, and since the multiplayer was local only, adding an online component would take longer to create.

So in general, i would love to see the game be ported or remastered on PC, but i do feel it'll take a long time before we'll be able to play it, that's if it'll happen.

Problem is that the game is only available on the n64. As far as i know you can rip 3D models, textures and probaly sounds&music too. However I do not know of any way to import animations.

T1 and T2 are the best but they should do a package game for T3 and Rage Wars. Make it a double pack for fans :)

Well, on an emulator you can make T3 and rage wars play as a modern fps after configuring controls a little.

Since Turok 3 and Rage Wars are only console it may be more work just to get them.

So far the only way known for extracting 3d models from n64 games is trough a plugin (nemmy's plugin). not that hard at all, but the extracted model needs some tweaking so it looks like in the game.
Maybe it mostly just depends on demand now huh? Also, how well T1 and T2 do could be the life line to more I suppose.

All they would have to do is make the controls better, increase performance, and maybe include adjustable fov and bang the game could be better. Since Turok 3 and Rage Wars are only console it may be more work just to get them. Those two games may be more compatible to another because of that though. I would like to see Turok 3 also.

Well in my case I never got T3 because T2 drove me away alittle from the series with its slower pace, not to mention I sucked at FPS as a kid.

And if I remember correctly you have to collect pieces for the gun again like in Turok 1

Yeah, The PSG. After the fiasco that was The Nuke in T2, this one was awesome.

I definitely agree, it would be awesome if T3 (and rage wars) got a remaster too.

It would be so cool if they did Turok 3 after Turok 2 because Turok 3 was a good game it just got overshadowed because they released it so late and the N64 was becoming old. So most gamers had moved on and this game didn't get all the players it should have got. It actually has some interesting stuff in this game. And if I remember correctly you have to collect pieces for the gun again like in Turok 1. Well maybe if 1 and 2 do good for them they can consider T3 :) I would like to play this with smooth mouse controls it would be awesome!

If anything, i dont like Turok 2 too much in general. Worst turok next to turok 2008.

Some years ago i would had tought this was terribly wrong, but the more i played all 3 n64 games, the more T2 falls behind the other 2 games, besides graphics and creativity.

T3 actually had some cool things to it, like no look-spring in any form.

All the weapons were powerfull, minus the vampire gun. I really loved that i always had something to rely on, even if it was the melee weapons which was powerful enough.

The option to turn auto-aim on/off is what i would had wanted in t2. its a switch between the option to be able to shoot any limb at will, or only get torso shots for moderate damage (kinda).

Other than that the graphics were lazy (not bad, lazy. as in, sitcking a box with a lighting .gif on a shotgun and calling it the Shredder) and the stage were almost completely linear, yet hard. It was definitely much more easier to replay than t2 even with its setbacks.

It would surely excite me if Turok 3 would get a port maybe if Turok 1 and 2 do great it could become a consideration? Then it could continue to the next we got to support these games ladies and gents so buy 10 copies each of Turok when it comes out :)

Or maybe someone pulls off a DOOM 64 EX for Turok 3...

Kaiser is the guy who can do it maybe if we have enough support and demand for Turok 3 they would do that to? I for one would 100% support it if T3 came out. Also, Rage wars and Evolution! Full Turok revival :D I wish
